Texas Self-Defense: Police: Father shoots man dead after robbery suspect threatens kids with gun :: 12/07/2017
Police say that a father shot a man dead after that man threatened his family at a south-side Popeye's on Wednesday night.
The incident happened at the 800 block of Southeast Military Drive.
According to the San Antonio Police Department, a man walked into Popeye's and confronted a family and tried to rob them. Police say that, at that point, the man pulled out a gun and pointed it at the children.
Police say that the father of that family was a carrying a gun, though, and shot the man dead in the restaurant.
Employees locked the restaurant until law enforcement arrived on the scene.
Police have not yet identified the attempted robbery suspect.
