Pennsylvania Self-Defense: Man stabbed on Main Street in Butler :: 09/20/2021
A 68-year-old man is in the custody of Butler police following the stabbing of a 40-year-old man Monday afternoon on South Main Street.
Police said the incident occurred at 1:51 p.m. in the 300 block — a block south of the Butler County Courthouse.
The victim was taken to Butler Memorial Hospital with multiple stab wounds to several areas of his body. His condition is not known.
A male citizen, who was exiting a business in the area, saw the incident and held the 68-year-old man at gunpoint until officers arrived, police said.
Police said the incident is under investigation and didn't immediately identify either man or provide details about the confrontation that led to the stabbing.
