No More Colt 1911s In California? :: 12/28/2015
According to industry sources, firearms dealers in California are being told by Colt that many of their pistols are going to fall off the roster of “approved” handguns for sale in the state within the next 60 days due to a change in manufacturing.

Bearing Arms is in the process of attempting to determine which models are affected, but it may affect many of the company’s 1911 models.
We have a call in to Colt’s public relations representatives, and await their response.
Update: Only the Colt Commander model #04691 is thought to remain on the “approved” roster.
