Kelly Clarkson: Pro-Animal, Pro-Legalized Pot, Pro-Gun :: 02/26/2015
On Wedesday, US Weekly published a “25 Things You Don’t Know About Me” interview with Kelly Clarkson in which readers learn that Clarkson loves animals, believes pot should be legal, and has a concealed handgun license for self-defense.
Clarkson told US Weekly, “I have a horse called Unicorn because he is perfect and anyone can ride him.” She added: “Most of the time I love animals more than I love humans.”
Regarding marijuana, she said: “I cannot understand the fact that controlled narcotic substances and alcohol are legal and weed isn’t. How many people do you know who have died from weed? My point exactly.”
The 24th item on Clarkson’s “25 Things You Don’t Know About Me” list was that she has “a concealed handgun license.”
In September 2011 Clarkson posted a description of her first time shooting skeet to Facebook. She said it was fun but her right shoulder got pretty sore. A lot of skeet shooters have the same experience their first time shooting as well.
