Florida Self-Defense: Police say homeowner shot intruder :: 06/30/2015

ORLANDO, Fla. - Orlando police said a homeowner shot an intruder who broke into his house around 2 a.m. Sunday.

Orlando Police Department said the break-in occurred on Bolder Lane, just off Michigan Street and Conway Road.

The homeowner confronted the intruder before firing the shot, police said.

The suspect was taken to Orlando Regional Medical Center. No word on his condition.
