2 former Phila. police officers sentenced to prison :: 02/05/2015
DARBY, Pa. (WPVI) -- Two former Philadelphia police officers are going to prison stealing money and drugs while on duty.
On Wednesday a judge sentenced Jonathan Garcia to 17 years in prison.
His partner, Sydemy Joanis, will spend 5 years in prison.
Both were convicted of pocketing heroin and money from a confidential informant.
Garcia admitted he also falsified documents for the police department.
